NOTICE

The Admission Test for admission to the First Year (M.Sc. in Applied Economics) classes for 2010 will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 between 12 Noon and 2 P.M. at the Economics Department of the College.  The question paper will consist of 50 Multiple Choice Questions divided into four groups –

Group A: Microeconomic Theory

Group B: Macroeconomic Theory

Group C: Statistics (excluding Econometrics)

Group D: Mathematical Economics

In each group there will be 12/13 questions of 2 marks each.  All will be compulsory and there will be no negative marking.

The syllabus for these questions will be the Calcutta University syllabus of B.Sc. (Economics Honours) part I, II, III (the same syllabus according to which students have appeared for their B.Sc. Honours final examination 2010).
